About OUR COMMITTEE

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Senatorial Committee serves as an advisory body to the Kent State Undergraduate Student Government Senator and plays a significant role in helping create, reform and shape policies in the College of Education, Health and Human Services. The committee’s members meet bi-monthly and work closely with the College’s Senator. 

​The committee has made large impacts in the College of Education, Health and Human Services and on the greater Kent State campus. Executing multiple projects and initiatives that make the College a better place to learn, work and grow. 

Various goals our committee has accomplished include:

  • Creating the first-ever student lounge in the basement of White Hall.
  • Installing a suggestion box to gauge student feedback in White Hall.
  • Gaining approval to begin a College Staff Appreciation Program.
  • Starting a Student Feedback Program that gauges student opinion regarding campus wide issues. ​​​


Our committee's work has been recognized by the Kent State Center for Student Involvement and by the Dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Services for extraordinary work that contributes to the continuous improvement of our campus.
